Imagine lantern-lit trails with nature eduction stations, hot chocolate, bon fires, drumming and much more. If this sounds like fun, you may want to come out to Pacific Spirit Regional Park!

We are going to meet @ Acadia Beach Parking Lot.
Hike goes from parking lot to Trail 3, up Trail 3 and down NW Marine Drive.
Person with most number of correct answers to a quiz, first(!!) gets a Wreck Beach T-
Shirt.
You might want to bring a lunch because it will take between 3-4 hours.
This time of the year, the weather could be unstable. So, we will recommend to bring jacket and decent walking shoes.

Thank you for coming to 2016 Wreck Beach Christmas party last night!

As Judy announced last night, it is going to be the last christmas party she organizes.

When I see how successful it was… I feel sorry about Judy’s decision…
Thank you for everybody who joined our X’mas party, Thank you for all the band members, bar staff and all the volunteers who supported our party.
We don’t know what is going to happen next year at this stage… but please hang onto our website http://www.wreckbeach.org for the further update.
Still summer is a bit away… however, we are also running nude swim every 3rd Saturdays.

Since last Sunday, our sky has been covered by the nasty smoke and that has been affecting Wreck Beach quite a bit.
But, at least it has been improving day after day and this is the evening shot from yesterday.
On Wednesday, the sun was completely covered by the smoke long before the sunset.
But now, we can see the sunset like this!
Hopefully in a few days, it will go back to normal…
I guess lots of people are worried about the situation, but I say, It is getting better.

Thanks to all the bands and musicians who helped make the WBPS Christmas party rock! We are indebted to them, Conrad for the sound and lights, Jamie for the drums and to Leslie for the coordination. And we couldn’t have done any of this without our fabulous volunteers including Willy and Sandra, Joe and her crew at the bar! Thank you one and all!
Those fantastic glowing clouds were created by our sound man, Conrad.
Cindy celebrated a milestone birthday and two other beachers celebrated a life-long commitment!
Many thanks to Amanda for helping Judy collect raffle prizes, to Watermelon for that fabulous gift basket of licorice, to JImbo and Christine for donating an overnight stay at the Rosedale, and to Captain Billy for donating so many silent auction works of art.
Francoise’s limited edition print alone brought in $110! And, Julie and George were invaluable in helping Judy, Chris, and Hiro at the door and entrance tables. Finally, thank you and Merry Christmas to all you wonderful Wreckers who made the party a success just by being there!
